The sealing ring form is not exactly the same, the O-type sealing ring is generally used under low pressure, and the lip sealing ring is used under high pressure. At the same time, the outer circle of the piston is also equipped with a dust ring and a wear ring. As long as the cylinder seal fails, all the internal seals should be replaced.
When the cylinder is tested, why can't the pressure be maintained with the balance valve?
Because the oil into the oil chamber through the hydraulic lock on the control oil circuit through the other side of the spool, the original valve is designed in this way. It locks the circuit after the oil supply circuit loses pressure, on the contrary, if you keep supplying pressure, it is always in the state of opening the other side of the one-way spool. So this valve can't be used in the test.
